Your engineering team

Reliable systems. Delivered faster.

We combine experienced engineers with AI-assisted development to build scalable products, platforms and integrations for your business.

Services

What we build and look after

From architecture to production, with ongoing support after launch.

Custom software development

Applications, platforms, APIs and backend systems built around your business, with the capacity and performance you need.

We design the architecture and data models, then build and release the system with agreed connections to the software you already run.

Clear module boundaries, tests that describe behaviour and documented decisions make the work maintainable. The code, infrastructure and runbooks stay with you.

Typical scope

  • Web applications and internal platforms
  • Backend services and public or internal APIs
  • Cloud architecture, with infrastructure defined in code
  • Data modelling, storage and migrations
  • Technical discovery and architecture reviews
  • Documentation and runbooks for every system

Integration and automation

APIs, data sync and workflows built to handle retries, partial failures and upstream changes. We connect new services to legacy systems and automate the work between them.

Maintenance and upgrades

Planned dependency upgrades, bug fixes and reliability work. We use monitoring and performance profiles to decide what needs attention.

Also available

Mobile applications

Cross-platform and native mobile apps that share APIs and business logic with the rest of your platform.

ERPNext implementation

Implementation, customisation and integration of ERPNext, the open-source ERP, done in stages to fit how the business already works.

Tools and judgement

How AI helps us deliver faster

We use AI to navigate codebases, draft tests and handle repetitive changes, shortening delivery cycles while engineers own architecture, review and release.

Understanding code faster
Mapping unfamiliar code and tracing data flow to find what a change will touch.
More of the code under test
Drafting tests for edge cases and overlooked paths, then keeping those that describe real behaviour.
An extra pass on every change
Flagging missed error handling and inconsistencies before human review.
Mechanical changes
Working through renames, API migrations and repetitive boilerplate.

Approach

How an engagement runs

A short design document, small releases and a clear view of what changed.
  1. 01

    Understand the system

We start by reading: your existing systems, your constraints and how the software is used. The aim is to understand the problem well enough to say what not to build.

  2. 02

    Agree on the shape

Before writing much code, we agree with you on scope, interfaces and what done means. It goes into a short design document that you review and sign off before the build starts.

  3. 03

    Build in small steps

Work lands in small, tested increments. You see it as it happens, in regular demos and short written updates.

  4. 04

    Ship carefully

Releases are automated and can be rolled back. We set up the monitoring, alerts and runbooks needed to operate the system.

  5. 05

    Look after it

After launch we keep the system upgraded, monitored and fixed, and build what comes next on your roadmap.

Engagement

Who owns what?

You decide what the software should do and in what order. We take responsibility for the engineering. With your developers, we work on the interfaces between our systems.

Engagement models and each team's responsibilities
Starting pointYour roleOur responsibility
New productsA product, platform or system to build.Set priorities and agree on scope and milestones.Architecture, implementation and release, followed by ongoing upkeep.
Existing systemsSoftware already in production.Set the roadmap and provide access to the existing systems.Learn the system, maintain and extend it, and report on what changed.
IntegrationConnections to software your team runs.Own your systems and agree on interfaces with us.Build the integration and coordinate testing and cut-over with your developers.

Need to build, connect or improve a system?

Tell us what you need and where things stand. We'll discuss the approach, scope and next steps with you.
